Henry Blackaby says, "God has a right to interrupt your life anytime He wants to!" Has that ever happened to you? Did you misinterpret that interruption? It could be that you are too focused on yourself to see God's agenda for you.
Many times I am looking for some great thing to do for God and neglect the little things that He brings my way. Maybe a kind word or action toward a family member, friend or co-worker is just what God wants you to do today. It could seem insignificant to you, but be life-changing for them.
When you are faithful in small things, God will give you bigger things to do for Him (see Matthew 25:21). Keep your eyes open for the little things that irritate you today. Could they be holy interruptions?
Unproductively Productive?
ReplyDeleteGod is revealing yet another selfish flaw. In an attempt to be jam-packed productive from morning to night, thinking this is God's will, I find myself pulled away from His productivity and pushing mine. Rather than being aware of where God is and going there, my attempt to control more productivity is actually unproductive towards His places and His purposes. Lord, you produce!
